Recover Wyoming Celebrates 2015 National Recovery Month

September 19th

Message Mob at the Wyoming State Capitol. Over 100 persons participated in this advocacy and fun event by creating a personal message of "Why I Support Recovery in Wyoming." Signs included messages from family members about recovery saving their loved ones' lives and messages of personal successes in recovery.

UNITE to Face Addiction March and Celebration on the National Mall, Washington D.C.

October 4th and 5th

Four persons represented Wyoming at this history making event. Laura and Sally Griffith, Dawn Cranmore and Lucretia Maes along with 30,000 other persons in recovery, family members and other allies of recovery enjoyed outstanding music from Steven Tyler, Sheryl Crow, Joe Walsh, The Frey, Jason Isbell and others at a 6 hour concert. The event also included many celebrities and others sharing their support for the Recovery Movement. The following day the ladies from Wyoming met with their congressional representatives to advocate for national legislation impacting recovery.
